    Abd Rabo in Ismailia

  • Abd Rabo has confirmed that he was trained today with Ismaili young players team under the auspices of Ashraf Khedr, the technical manager of the group 18 years to maintain physical fitness and functional, and ready to participate with Ismaili first team, even separated in the current crisis by the International Federation (FIFA) and the decision to allow him to formally join with his beloved club.

Regarding the next game with the Sudanese Marikh team in the African Confederation urged Hosni his colleagues to do their best, a good perform and winning to put a smile on the lips of the public who loves Ismaili

No, it is not a trick because he addressed the Egyptian Federation of football to send a fax to FIFA concerning that his desire is to stay at the club Ismaili

  • FIFA put Abd-Rabou's case on hold

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has informed the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and Ismaili to put on hold Hosni Abd-Rabou's participation until their competent decision-making body decide on the eligibly of the player for a specific club.

“In reaction to your inquiry on whether the above-mentioned player is eligible to play for the Egyptian club Ismaili FC despite the fact that apparently a contractual dispute might concern the player Hosni Abd-Rabou, we regret having to inform you that in case of a dispute only our competent decision-making bodies may express themselves on the eligibility of a player for a specific club,” the world football governing body told the EFA through a fax sent on July 18th.

“Consequently, until our competent authority will not have passed a formal decision on the matter concerning the player Hosni Abd-Rabou, if need to be, we are not in a position to give you any legal advice.”

“We understand from the documentation received by our services that the player Hosni Abd-Rabou is still registered with the Egyptian Football Association in favour of Ismaili FC.

“It also appears that, to this day, the Egyptian Football Association has not issued the International Transfer certificate (ITC), of the above mentioned player to another association.

“Moreover, and as informed by means of our correspondence dated July 11th 2007, the former association shall not issue an ITC in case that a contract has not expired or that there has been no mutual agreement regarding its early termination, this is in case that a contractual dispute has arisen between the former club and the professional.”

The FIFA fax insisted that “only registered players are eligible to play in organized Football,” and “that a player is eligible to play for a specific club as long as he fulfills the condition of the registration with the association concerned.”

From the above-mentioned fax we can confirm that Abd-Rabou is not eligible to play with Ismaili or even with Ahli until the case is closed.

It also denies Ismaili's agent claims who said earlier that FIFA temporarily allowed Abd-Rabou to play for the Dervishes.

  • EFA warn Ismaili over Abd-Rabou selection

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) told Ismaili that Hosni Abd-Rabou will not be available for selection in the club's Confederation Cup clash against Sudan's Al-Merrikh.

Ismaili and French side Strasbourg are at loggerheads over Abd-Rabou's ownership and the matter has been taken to FIFA to resolve the issue.

EFA has recently asked the world governing body whether Abd-Rabou can temporarily play with Ismaili until a final decision is announced or not.

FIFA's reply was ambiguous and couldn't clear up the confusion, so the EFA warned Ismaili over Abd-Rabou's participation in Sunday's encounter.

"We sent FIFA another letter later to have the matter clarified but they are yet to reply," EFA general secretary Salah Hosni told FilGoal.com.

"Consequently, we told Ismaili not to play him as FIFA have not confirmed that he is eligible for participation."

According to a fax sent by FIFA, player would join Ismaili FC. where he is officially registered with the Egyptian football Association to this day in the club Ismaili and his contract is extended to the next two years and there is no just a word explicitly emphasizes that FIFA had ordered a hold player
  • Ismaili demand a temporarily license for Abd-Rabou

Ismaili have asked the International Football Federation (FIFA) to deliver a temporarily license for their midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou so he could play with the team until they decide on his eligibly for a specific club.

"We asked FIFA to provide us a temporarily license so he could play with us in the League and the African competitions," said Ahmed Souelam, Ismaili's agent.

"There is a contractual dispute between Ismaili and Strasbourg and the case might take some time before having a final decision. Hosni Abd-Rabou has revealed his wish to stay at Ismaili and so we ask from FIFA to allow him to play with the team.

"Based on many precedents the FIFA could grant him a temporarily license," added Souelam.

Despite having signed a four-year-deal with Ahli, Hosni Abd-Rabou is currently training with Ismaili and waiting for the FIFA's final decision.
